Meet The Directors
James
DIRECTOR
James is a Director of Insight Equity, and is an accomplished Property Professional with experience managing a combined portfolio value of circa $1b with a proven track record of maximising value.
Having held previous roles strategically managing assets for a market-leading listed property syndication client and charged with managing Westpac’s leasehold interests, James intimately understands the requirements of both Landlords and Tenants, empowering growth throughout their portfolio and respective businesses.
More recently, James has held the role of Asset Manager for NZ’s largest industrial occupier, responsible for maximising value and minimising occupancy cost through effective transactions. Able to call upon his feasibility and analytical knowledge, James was able to play a key role in securing new sites and effectively negotiate existing leasehold transactions.
James is a Graduate from the University of Auckland having completed a Bachelor of Property degree.

DIRECTOR
Grace, Director and Founder of Insight Equity has an extensive background in the commercial property sector, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to her role. With a foundation in Auckland's fast-paced real estate landscape, Grace has navigated the dynamics of the international corporate real estate industry. Her early career involved active engagement in Sales and Leasing, where she honed her skills in negotiating complex transactions and understanding the intricate dynamics of the Auckland property market. Having worked on project leasing initiatives, Grace gained valuable insights into the intricacies of bringing ambitious property projects to fruition. Her involvement in large-scale leasing endeavours showcased her ability to contribute strategically to project feasibility and success.
More recently, Grace has transitioned into providing advisory services, focusing on Tenant Leasing Strategy and project feasibility analysis. In this capacity, she has demonstrated a keen understanding of the nuanced needs of both landlords and tenants, advising clients on optimising leasing strategies for maximum value and efficiency.
